We are continuing our fundraising campaign for our two major projects of tuckpointing the church and the new heat system at the Parish Center.
Our goal is $60,000 for both projects.  To date we have
collected $37,435.51.  Thank you so much for responding to this need with such generosity.  We have $22,564.49 to go to reach our goal.
Please continue to pray about your gift and do what you can in support of the ongoing work and upkeep of our parish.
      Thank you!

Sacred Heart Annual Chicken Dinner will be held September 19.  In preparation for this day we are asking for your help.  Parishioners are being asked to furnish either 2 pies serving 8-10 pieces each or 2 salads serving 15 each.  A sign up sheet is available in the
vestibule of the church please sign up.  By signing your name in one space means you are signing up to bring either 2 pies or 2 salads of the same kind.  Any questions?  Contact Tracy Drey-273-5407 or Karen Blass -273-5345.

THANK YOU!

Alvin & Tillie Drey Memorial
We want to thank the Drey family for the beautiful Holy Water Receptacle purchased as a memorial for their folks.  Maybe as you use the Holy Water you might whisper a prayer for them.

The Catholic Globe is conducting its 2010-2011 subscription drive.  You are an important part of the drive as your response is vital to the campaign's success.  The cost remains at $20.  The newspaper provides an avenue for Bishop Nickless to communicate regularly with the Catholics of the diocese, helps to spread the message of Jesus Christ and informs the faithful regarding present day happenings within the
Catholic Church.  The
Catholic Globe will send a second subscription mailing in seven to eight weeks, so your timely response to this first
effort will be greatly appreciated.

Fr. O'Reilly Scholarship applications are available in the parish office.  Anyone who is attending a Catholic High School or
college may apply.  The amount awarded depends on the
number of applications received.  DEADLINE is August 30.
