Sacred Heart Guild will be serving refreshments to the residents of Park View Rehabilitation Center each Monday in April.  We are asked to keep the snacks simple and the servings small.  Keeping in mind that there are
diabetic residents.  Some suggestions for serving are: cheese and crackers, small sandwiches, angel food cake, and cookies.  Serving is from 2:30-2:45 PM with
3-4 volunteers to help with 40-45 residents. 
A sign up sheet has been placed on a table in the vestibule at the church.  Please consider signing up to serve for this worthwhile project.

Reminder to support these Lenten Projects:

  • Collecting materials for the "Ugly Quilts"
  • Collecting medicines for Haiti
  • Praying the Penance from the Penance Tree
  • Collecting foods and non-perishable items for the food pantry
A box is now available in the vestibule for your food donations
  • Hy-Vee receipts are still needed-please drop them in the "orange" box in the vestibule
  • Consider being a part of the Sacred Heart Peace and Justice Committee
       Next meeting May 18 at 1 PM at the Sacred Heart Parish Center.
