A New Springtime Family Concert: Enjoy an evening of uplifting music, acknowledging the
challenges and celebrating the joy of living a Christian life in the modern world. Catholic mom
and Nashville singer/ songwriter Marie Bellet will perform at 7:00 pm March 6, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll, Iowa. Admission is free. Prom Season is upon us.  Given the current
economic situation, many families are struggling to budget for that special dress and accessories.  The Storm Lake School District foundation will be sponsoring the 2nd Annual Prom Fair on
Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 2-6 PM in the high school student center.  The fair will feature gently used dresses, shoes, jewelry and purses.  The event is open to all area girls.  There will be no charge for items.
Participants able to do so may consider a
contribution to the Storm Lake School district Foundation.
To make this event a success, donations of dresses and accessories are needed.  Please drop your items off at the Strom Lake Community Education office @ 419 Lake Ave. weekdays from 8 AM-4:30 PM or at the Storm lake High School on Saturday, march 13th from 3-5 PM.  You may also contact Pat Fisher @ 732-5711 or email pfisher@slcsd.org for further information.

Does a romantic dinner and movie sound
inviting?  On Saturday, March 20, at 4:00 PM.  Early United Methodist Church is hosting an evening of hors d'oeuvres and candle -light dinner, followed by a showing of the movie "FIREPROOF". 
Tickets are $20 per couple.  Please make your
reservation between Feb. 20-March 10th. 
Reservations limited to 15 couples (first come, first served basis).
