Next weekend is World Mission Sunday Special Collection. 
United with the Catholics of the world at the Table of the Lord, we recommit ourselves to our vocation, through Baptism, to be missionaries.  Our prayers and Eucharistic celebration next Sunday are directed in a special way toward our brothers and sisters throughout the world who are waiting to hear the joyous "Good News" of Jesus.  Our offerings, through the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, will support the work and witness of those who selflessly give up all for the sake of our Lord and His Gospel-the local priests, Religious, and lay catechists who daily provide loving service to the poor and suffering of the Developing World.

Those wanting Communion brought to their homes are asked to call the Parish Office at 273-5482 by Thursday of each week so the Eucharistic Ministers can be notified.

2010 Diocesan Annual Appeal (DAA) is under way.
Sacred Heart's goal for 2010 is $6012.24.
Donations received to date: $4049.00 -- $1963.24 to go. 
  We praise and thank God for your generosity. 

Coat and Sweatshirt Collection
Some of us have winter coats and sweatshirts at home that are no longer in use for us and family. We want to take up a collection of them at each parish.  They will be set aside so parish member can come through and pick through them in our respective parish centers. There will be no cost.  Eventually, those not picked up will be given to Sac Outreach, Holy Rosary Parish in Minn., or Early's Food Pantry.  A box is located in the vestibule of the Sacred Heart Church for your donations.  Hats, mittens and scarves are also being
excepted.  There is a need for infant to teen sized coats or sweatshirts.

Would you consider being President or Co-President of the
Sacred Heart Guild for 2011?  Grab a friend and do it together.  If interested contact Karen Blass or Tracy Drey. 

The St. Mary's Knights of Columbus wishes to thank Sacred Heart Church for letting us have the
Tootsie Roll Drive.  The parish was very generous.  We had the best year so we will be able to give more to the Mentally Handicapped.                Thank you again-Pete J. Houska Sr.

CCD TEACHERS and SUBSTITUTES ARE STILL NEEDED for:

2nd grade which meets the first Sat. of each month from 8-11 AM at the St. Joseph Church, Schaller.

Substitutes teachers are also needed.

The Tuck Pointing and the Parish Center heating project are well underway.  We have currently raised $57908.94 of the $60,000 needed.  This leaves us short $2091.06.
Several parishioners have yet to donate. 
Remember any amount you can give will be appreciated and put to very good use.
