To a man who always has a nice smile, to Charles
Higgins, for his years of service as a Parish Director. That involves a lot of meetings, decisions and care for the parish. Directors are becoming even more
important than before. Jim Coon has graciously
accepted Charles’ role as director. May the Lord bless Charles and Yvonne with health, happiness and his love. Be sure you’re well appreciated. Fr. John McGuirkText Box: Spanish Youth Group
One cause that is dear to my heart is to the
Spanish Youth Group in Holy Rosary, Minneapolis. One of their goals is to get the youth involved in regular attendance. I would like to suggest that one of our second collections each month be designated to this important ministry. Funds from these collections would be used to help fund their special activities and music for Masses.
Hopefully, my sister, who is a Dominican Sister, can come and give us a brief presentation on the value of this ministry.
Fr. John McGuirkText Box: Healing Mass
Will be held at St. Joseph, Wall Lake on Monday,
November 23 at 7:00 PM. Winter is approaching, so it will be the last one for 3 months-to many cancellations occur otherwise. One of the interesting aspects of these Masses is everyone present is blessed-especially
spiritually. There are healings that occur each time but you seldom hear of them. I had one myself. So be sure to come and bring a friend with you.Text Box: Deacon Butch Stone
Some have asked about the role of a Deacon.
Butch studied 6 years and then was ordained
sacramentally like a priest is. After that the Diocese assigned him just like they do priests, it all is done in harmony with the pastors. Butch has been a great help to me. With the addition of a 3rd parish I know I couldn’t get it done without him. Keep him in your prayers and supportive care as you do me.
