for the 2007-2008 CCD classes. 
If anyone is interested in keeping our CCD program going in the parishes-YOUR HELP IS NEEDED NOW!
Grades available are
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th.  ONE person has graciously offered to take any grade.

Sacred Heart will hold their Annual Chicken Dinner on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.  Planning is underway and your help is needed. Parishioners are being asked to bring pies or salads. A sign up sheet is available in the vestibule of the church please sign up for the pies or salads of your choice.  Also, please note that signing in one space means you will bring two pies, serving 8-10 people each or two salads serving 15 people each of the same kind.  If you have any questions please contact DeLynn Coburn at 273-5007, Deb Drey at 273-5212 or Lisa Hurd at 636-4488. We wish to sincerely thank everyone for your kindness shown to us through your phone calls, cards, prayers, visits, food, flowers, the meal prepared and served by the guild after John's funeral Mass.  Words cannot appropriately express our gratitude for your goodness in remembering us during the time of John's illness and since his passing.   The Sacred Heart Parish Family is very special to us!  Truly there is no place like "home"!

The Family of John and Eleanor Dick is happy to
announce a $5000.00 donation to Sacred Heart Parish in the form of an annual scholarship of $250.00 to a graduating high school senior from the parish.  The principal will be preserved and interest earned will provide the annual scholarship.  2007 high school graduates who are interested should write an application letter stating how they would use the money.  Please address the letter of application to the Dick Scholarship committee and give them or send them to Fr. Larry.  Deadline for application is August 28, 2007.  The
scholarship will be awarded by September 11th. 

Fr. O'Reilly Scholarship
applications are in the parish office.  Any member of the Sacred Heart Parish who is attending a Catholic High School or college may apply. 
The amount awarded depends on the
number of applications received. 
Deadline: September 11.
