Volunteer Workers for 2007

A big thank you to Ruth Ann (Harman) Boisen '59 who updated the mailing list for the Quasquicentennial.

Man with papersThe Early High School Reunion volunteered to host the All-School reunion on Saturday during the Quasquicentennial.

Schaller-Crestland School provided the printing services for the reunion mailing in 2007.

Heartland Marketing, owned by Steve and Barb Determan of Early, set up the forms and provided the manpower to label and mail the invitations and information on the Quasquicentennial for the Early High School, Crestland, and Schaller-Crestland alumni.

We give them a big thank you for all their hard work. The mailing for 2007 was sent Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

Flower arrangement presented at Crestland Reunion 2007A lovely floral arrangement was presented to the organizers of the All School Reunion held at the Schaller-Crestland High School in Early July 21, 2007 during the Early Quasquicentennial weekend and for past Crestland Reunions.

The annonymous giver(s) gave a card describing their appreciation of the time and dedication that goes into hosting a school reunion and for keeping everyone informed of the activities. The arrangement had an assortment of over 9 different flowers including carnations, daisies, bridal wreath, and other varieties in purples, reds, yellows and pinks with multiple greenery.

The arrangement was placed at the check-in tables for the enjoyment of all who attended.

The year 2007 was a big celebration with a large turnout  for Early's 125th birthday celebration held Friday thru Sunday July 20-22, 2007.

The Early Quasquicentennial website is being maintained as a pictorial review of the weekend's activities. You may go to  www.early125.com to look at photos of the weekend, historical photos, and to see what products are still available including History Books, Afghans, Crocks, and more.

Sharon (Smith) Irwin '63, Genie (Block) Mintken '63, and Marlys (Launspach) Waters '63 are again monitoring the financial end of the Crestland alumni and offer encouragement to the volunteers who made an All-School reunion a reality.
