George Norris, wife Kathy, and Bob Becker (music teacher 1959) led the buffet
line.
 Gary Davis is talking to Bob Becker. Gary would have been in 9th grade
when Mr. Becker
taught music at Crestland in 1959.
Bob Becker served in WWII. He came to Crestland to teach the high school music
program in 1959 for one year. Then he went to Verdan, France and taught music to
Air Force kids.
Superintendant Bones talked Bob into coming to Wahoo, Nebraske where he taught
music for
4 years. The rest of his teaching career was in Jefferson, Iowa.
After leaving teaching, he ran a hardware store for 4 years, then moved to
Marcus onto his in-laws farm home for a few years. He now resides in Cleghorn
near a son. He is still active in the church choir.
 George and Kathy Norris. George turned 92 on July 25, 2010.
George attended Wayne State College in Nebraska, served in the Air Corps of the
United States Army before and during WWII, and finally became a teacher. He
earned his Master of Education degree at University of Nebraska, Lincoln,
Nebraska.
George and Kathryn moved to Nemaha in 1959
where George accepted a position as the elementary principal for the newly
formed Crestland Community School. He retired from this position in 1982.
George and Kathy celebrated their 60th
wedding anniversary in 2009.

Crestland Reunion 2010 • Summary
Crestland Reunion
Friday evening, July 23, 2010
A volunteer has agreed to host a Crestland Reunion every 5 years beginning in
2010. Other committees are encouraged to host a Crestland Reunion in other years
but this person volunteered to host a reunion "on the fives" (every year
divisible by 5).
 Crossroads
Day was held in Early on July 24. The Crestland Reunion was held Friday
evening, July 23rd at King's Pointe Resort in Storm Lake. A meeting room was rented from 4:00 - 9:00 pm.
Invitations were mailed April 6, 2010. Alumni are also welcome to refer to
this website for all announcements and schedule for the evening which will be
kept updated through the evening of the reunion. Advance RSVP required for
buffet meal.

Social hour: 4:00 pm.
Buffet Meal will be served from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.

no later than July 12, 2010.
Price of the buffet meal is $19.95 in advance or $22.95 at the door.
