Listing of Friends of the Reunion

cashAs usual, we are again accepting donations to help defray expenses of the 2010 Crestland Reunion. There will be printing fees for the announcements, postage to mail them, and expenses for the meeting hall.

This year any excess donations above expenses will be gifted to the FOCUS Committee, Early, who organize Crossroads Days. They plan to continue to hold Crossroads Day every summer and will also be planning a larger celebration in two years (2012) in honor of Early's 130th year of existence. FOCUS are the combination of several Early groups who promote the town.

You are also welcome to submit suggestions for any excess donations for the reunion. If a shortage exists, it will be paid by the organizer(s).

Marlys (Launspach) Waters '63 is the treasurer for the 2010 reunion.

Funding History

Gift for the School and Quasquicentennial 2006

The committee made a donation to the school and to the Quasquicentennial from the Crestland Reunion Association. We received enough to mail $250.00 to the Schaller-Crestland school for their Endowment Foundation along with a list of those who contributed to the gift. We also sent a $250 donation to the Early Quasquicentennial Committee for their expenses.

Gift for the School - 2005

The committee sent a monentary gift to the Schaller- Crestland school in 2005 from the Crestland Reunion Association. We had enough funds left over after deducting the expenses of the reunion.

We sent $850.00 to the school on September 4, 2005.

A listing of those who contributed to the gift was included with the check.

THANK YOU FROM SCHALLER-CRESTLAND: We received an appreciative thank you for our Sep. 2005 cash gift to the school. There were enough funds to purchase a decorative ceremony cloth table cover, an electronic LED message board, and some basketballs. Good work to those who helped fund the first Crestland Reunion Association school gift!
