Lance Presents Abraham Lincoln

Feb. 17---Abe Lincoln will be here to visit Sac County!!! Lance Mack presents "Abe Lincoln" sponsored by Sac County Veterans Affairs & Sac County American Legion Auxiliary. This is a Dinner & Entertainment Event. It will be held on Friday, February 17th--6:00 p.m. at the Wall Lake Community Center. Seats are limited--tickets are $20 and are available at banks in Lake View, Lytton, Sac City, Odebolt, Schaller and Wall Lake. Also at the Veterans Affairs office and City Clerk's office in Auburn and Early. This is a fundraiser to help complete the Sac County Veteran's Memorial. Questions! Call Peggy Dettmann at 712-662-4552 or 712-662-7818.

Using Mister Lincoln’s own timeless words and wearing period attire, including President Lincoln’s signature stovepipe hat and black frock coat, Lance has been mesmerizing his audiences for more than twenty years.

Through his stunning physical resemblance to Abraham Lincoln (6’5” in height, weight of 180 pounds), natural black beard and dignified Lincolnesque demeanor, Lance impressively and unforgettably brings this beloved American icon to life before his audiences’ very eyes!

We also still need liturgists for the upcoming months.  If you feel this is a way you can help out with worship services, please feel free to sign up at the back of the church.

At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
