Work in Progress  Cook's Woodstock has an organized, spacious manufacturing facility. By reducing lead times, we are able to supply components and furniture to our customers when they need them. We are able to accomplish this with modern machines, good plant layout and improved material flow allowing us to keep up with unprecedented residential and business building growth.
All woodworking machinery is calibrated to precision to produce quality products. We work with state-of-the-art machinery implementing the latest standards in manufacturing. |
 Key machines include a wide belt sander for volume projects. This allows large, flat pieces to be sanded removing all cross grain scratches. Straight, square wood with parallel sides is crucial to producing quality projects.
 We use the surface planer to make the sides square to the edges. The planer allows us to be able to produce standard and custom wood sizes for any project.
 Panel saws are the industry's standard for handling large sheets of material. This machine can cut large stock accurately. One person can easily handle large pieces using the feed tray.
 The edge banding system has been designed for the application of veneer or laminated strips. It is designed for applying wood veneer edge banding to contoured edges as on dining room tops, round tops, and any odd shaped panel.
 Shapers are stationary woodworking machines in which specially shaped bits cut a profile into the workpiece. They are used for Cabinet Molding, Cove & Bead, Concave Style & Rail, Convex Style & Rail, and many other profiles.
 The heavy-duty shaper can cut profiles into a large quantity of pieces and the last piece will be exactly like the first. Shapers can be used to cut large profiles and custom-made shaper bits can be readily ordered or fabricated.
 We have large work benches at comfortable heights for employee-comfort. Each operator has been trained in safe use of all machines and procedures.
 There is ample space for short-term storage of work in progress. Our tall ceilings allow us to take on any project, no matter how large or small.
